A LinkedIn invitation feed looks like the image below and there some examples of language that does nothing to convince me to accept an invite from a stranger:
- I’m looking to grow my network with like-minded professionals (What does that do for me? Sounds like it’s it’s all about him)
- I’m impressed with marketing initiatives (very boilerplate)
- Looking forward to connecting! (not the worst, but still could be seen as selfish)
- we’re both members of the Business Development – The Missing Link Between Marketing & Sales group (so?)
- I’d love to connect since I noticed you have a successful track record as an angel investor. (so?)
- Let’s connect and elevate your leads to boost sales together transforming Opportunities, Enhancing Success! (more sales leads??)
- I see we have mutual connections and are both members of the Digital Marketing Group. (That’s not enough)
- I Hope You’re Doing Well. I have a lot of experience in Lead Generation, Data Entry, Data Mining, and Web Research. I am also an expert in LinkedIn Connecting, Sending Messages, and finding emails for leads of Lead Generation services. Do you need my services? (too many services)
